GIDC invites Expression of Interest (EoI) for
setting up Textile Unit in Integrated Textile Park

GIDC proposes to promote a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to set up a Textile Park at Village Ichhapore, Surat and invite Expression of Interest (EoI) from weaving, apparel, madeups, hosiery, embroidery and any other non - water intensive, non - polluting textile units to set up Units in the Proposed Integrated Textile Park at Ichhapore, Surat

Highlights of the Park

• Proposed park to be set up in an area of 45 hectares

• Common Infrastructure of international standard. Common Facilities to be planned as per the requirements of the members

• Park to be promoted under Public Private Partnership model

• GIDC to subscribe to the equity share capital of the SPV (<49%) in the park and members to hold majority stake in the Park

• Park would be positioned under Scheme for Integrated Textile Park,
  Ministry of Textiles, Government of India if available

Eligibility of Applicants

Only weaving, apparel, madeups, embroidery and any other non - water intensive, non - polluting textile unit can apply.
